Create Engage Airport – Requirements
Requirements that must be followed
Design of the Create Engage area:
The requirements stated at the delivery specifications for Create Engage, needs to be followed at all times.
Requirements for the engage area that must be followed:
- All material must be as transparent as possible to ensure an efficient flow at the airport and for the sake of the passenger experience.
- All material must at least have the fire class D-s2, d2. If the material cannot comply with this, it must be fire impregnated. Documentation of impregnation must be available. If glass is used, it needs to be foiled.
- Maximum height of interior is 1,8m. Due to fire safety the loft needs to be at least 70% open. These requirements must always be complied with.
- If an end wall or similar marking is used, it must be transparent.
- Additional walls must be applied for and should not exceed 1m in width and 1,8m in height. Additional walls need to be placed in the direction of the passenger flow.
- The engage area must always appear exclusive, proper, tidy and suit the surrounding luxury environment at the airport.
- Roll-up banners cannot be used.
- Personal belongings or filling material must not be visible.
- Sampling material must not be taken outside the engage area. Sampling material left in terminals must be cleaned up.
- When using beverages, the number of centilitres must be approved by CPH – depending on the type of beverage.
- There are power outlets at all create areas. Please make sure that there are no loose wires on the floor.
- The airport floor must not be damaged or left with marks or scratches.
- If the engage area has no floor or carpet, all interiors must be fitted with felt pads or felt blankets.
- If a carpet is used, the edges need to be fastened so that passengers cannot stumble over them.
- There must be no loose or high edges that passengers can fall into. If there is an edge, it must be at an angle of 45 degrees or marked so that the edge is visible.
- To allow product sales at an engage area, authorization from CPH Airport is required. Please contact teamairport@clearchannel.dk for further assistance.
- It’s not allowed to recruit from a promotion. Passengers must show interest on their own.
- Setting up and dismantling of all interiors must be done before 6.00 and after 22.00.
- CPH Airport can provide storage space against a fee depending on the size and required amount of inventories.

Requirements that must be read and followed by all staff at a Create Engage area:
• All staff need to be able to communicate fluently in English and in one Scandinavian language.
• All staff need to appear well groomed and business like.
• Personal belongings or filling material must not be visible.
• When the stand is staffed, employees must be present during the same opening hours as other CASC* stores.
Monday-Friday 06:00-21:00, Saturday 06:00-20:00 & Sunday 06:00-21:00
Note: Opening hours may be subject to ongoing adjustments.
• If the area has periods without staffing, the area needs to be emptied of loose objects during these periods.
• Staffed periods must be stated on a printed sign.
• All staff must have valid ID cards. There is a possibility to hire staff from companies that operate in CPH who already have ID cards.
• There is also a possibility to have your company set up as a supplier and then apply for ID cards for your employees. The application process takes up to 5 days for company approval and up to 4 weeks for ID-cards for individual employees. • ID cards must be returned when they are no longer to be used, or they will be invoiced for DKK 660 + VAT per card.
Requirements for car exhibitions:
- When exhibiting a car, it is recommended that the car be in a lighter colour for reasons of cleaning and appearance.
- For fire safety, the fuel tank may only contain maximum five (5) litres of fuel.
- To eliminate the risk of the car being started and/or driven around, the car’s battery must be disconnected during the entire exhibition time. Same also applies if exhibiting an electrical car, consequently meaning the car must be immobilized completely in a suitable fashion.
- The car must always be placed on a separate car floor. The dimensions of the floor cannot exceed 3×6 metres for Nytorv and 4×7 meters for Showroom T3.
- The maximum load is 400 kg. per sq.m. For the same reason, a carjack cannot be used to apply wheels on the stand as this increases the point pressure on the floor.
- Wheel dollies shall be used to distribute the weight evenly when the car is pushed onto the stand.
